Dr. Manchego was born in Lima, Peru, the home of the Incas, Pisco Sour, and the magnificent Machu Picchu. He had an early fascination with North America and assured his parents that he would eventually settle in the United States. At 13 YOA, his wish was granted when his parents decided to pursue a new life in the United States. Since 1995, they have resided in North Carolina and obtained U.S. citizenship.
